Jack, Thanks for the wonderful guidance. Will be trekking around Mont Blanc in June. Your blog is a great inspiration, as well as very encouraging re fitness, and the likelihood I will be able to accomplish the planned tour. Your pictures also provide great incentive.

I am looking at doing the TJR this summer and have found your blog exactly what I need. Did you meet many people while walking as I will be doing it alone? I am guessing that the trails were a lot emptier than the TMB? Thanks for all the info.
